Meet Our Founder – Kate Ball
Mini First Aid was founded in January 2014 by mum of six, Kate Ball, with a mission to deliver high-quality baby and child first aid classes to parents and carers. Since then, the business has grown rapidly and now trains over 2,000 people every week across the UK in basic and life-saving first aid.
Our multi award-winning classes are designed to be relaxed, accessible, and confidence-boosting—giving you the knowledge and skills to act in a medical emergency. We offer sessions for the whole family, including parents, grandparents, carers, and even children as young as three.
In 2021, Kate and her husband Matt appeared on BBC's Dragons’ Den and successfully secured investment from Sara Davies MBE. Since then, Mini First Aid has continued to expand, including the development of our own range of brilliant first aid products, which are now stocked in major retailers nationwide.
